Drove past this lovely old drive-in theatre when I was passing through Lompoc (heading back from my failed trip to Carmel). It’s just sitting on the side of the highway, practically in the middle of nowhere. I wanted to stop and take a photo, but it was pouring with rain. Glad I finally found a picture of it!

Put a sweet Arizona state flag sticker on my snowboard yesterday. I love it. Currently trying to get my hands on a sticker I saw at Amoeba like this: http://www.heartsticker.com/state/California, except it was white with a red heart in the centre, not the top. Funny that I rep all these American places on my board (I have Vail and Beaver Creek stickers on there too), but I don’t have anything referencing my actual home - New Zealand. Oh well.

Hell yeah.

Just booked my flights to LA for next year. At this stage I arrive on March 25th and leave on April 11th. Once I pay off the flight cost and my credit card bill, I can start saving up and see exactly how much travelling I can do (I’m staying with my friend in LA, but I’m hoping to rent a car and see more of SoCal, possibly Arizona and fly up to San Francisco for 3-4 days).

In the meantime, my mum just told me how I was dumb for booking a good value flight because “something will probably go wrong and they’ll rip me off down the line.” Everything I do is incorrect to that woman. Why can’t she just be fucking supportive?
